John,
Tomorrow marks the start of the
28th UN Climate Conference, and yet the UK’s climate policy has
arguably never been more anti-green and underdeveloped.
Sunak plans to share the country’s
climate “successes” to help others, but we find it very hard to
believe that other countries will be green with envy when it comes to
his Government’s failing and inadequate environmental
policies.
The Government’s impulsive and
damaging decision-making on climate action, with their recent
delaying of net-zero targets and the approval of
Rosebank oil field speaks for itself.
Following last week’s budget,
it is not just our planet being eroded by this Government’s
incompetence but our economy too, and so if you can, do
consider giving to a sustainable cause by donating
to Best for Britain, as we work to grow a better democracy for all
of us.
For every new supporter
that signs up to give £10 or more a month, we plant a tree in your
name, in our pro-European forest, which will be around far
longer than the current Government with their selfish short-termist
policies.
