Eric Hovde is as extreme as they come. He is “totally opposed to abortion.” He “absolutely” wants to cut Social Security benefits. And he’s said that he would fully repeal the Affordable Care Act.
The cherry on top for the GOP? Hovde is prepared to self-fund his campaign to the tune of $20 million from his own deep pockets to make up for what his extreme agenda lacks in grassroots support.
I’ll put it plain and simple, team. With Republicans now all but guaranteed to pick up West Virginia’s Senate seat, losing this seat would secure the Senate majority for Republicans, and Eric Hovde would fall right in line to help the GOP enact their far-right agenda.
If we want to have any shot at defending our narrow Senate majority, we have to come together to defend Wisconsin. There’s far too much at stake to let Eric Hovde pay his way to victory and clinch the Senate majority for the GOP.
Can I count on you to split a donation between the WisDems and my reelection campaign? We have 24 hours left before our November end-of-month deadline, and a lot of ground to cover in the meantime.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will process immediately as a split contribution between the Democratic Party of Wisconsin and Tammy Baldwin:
Thank you for all of your support. It means more than you know.
