Economic Democracy Weekly

Today’s Economic Democracy Weekly examines the economics and politics of power and liberation. First up is a look at the growing power of community development financial institutions (CDFIs) and how that power can be mobilized to meet economic justice goals. Next, we offer a story about how movements can make the rules for corporations instead of the other way around. Following that, we feature an article that looks at the complexities of creating liberatory organizations where power is distributed. Finally, we want to hear from you on these issues: send us your 500-word contribution about organizing at your workplace for our new column, “We Stood Up,” and perhaps your story will appear in a future NPQ newsletter.
