Is US Uninsured Crisis a Myth?

Progressives like Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., routinely claim that the United States is in the midst of an uninsured crisis. Just last month, the Vermont socialist lamented, “We have 85 million Americans who are uninsured or under-insured.”
But as a recent report from the Congressional Budget Office shows, this national emergency exists mostly in Sanders’s imagination.

Giving Thanks for Medicare Advantage

One topic of discussion around the dinner table at Thanksgiving , especially for families with seniors, will be Medicare ‘s open enrollment period, which ends Dec. 7.
Many seniors may be leaning toward selecting Medicare Advantage plans, and for good reason. The plans frequently deliver superior care at a lower cost than traditional Medicare.
