Here’s something you might not know about Jason: He’s a big fan of 80s rock. Journey, Foreigner — you name it. It probably comes as no surprise that our campaign lives by three words: Don’t stop believin’.
There’s a lot of bad news in the world. There are days when it feels easier to throw in the towel. We’re asking you to keep the faith. Especially now. Some of our biggest wins come from standing up after being pushed down. Jason isn’t afraid to go where the fight is — even if the odds are stacked against him. After 9/11, Jason went active duty in the Army. He served three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and earned a Bronze Star. When veterans were struggling after coming back stateside, Jason stepped up. He worked pro-bono to get our servicemembers the support and benefits they earned. When people said CO-06 wasn’t winnable, Jason ran for office. After long months of door-knocking and sharing his unifying message, we defeated the NRA-backed incumbent and he became the first Democrat to represent the seat. When people said a president couldn’t be held accountable for his actions, Jason fought back. As an impeachment manager for Donald Trump’s first trial, he helped secure the first bipartisan Senate vote in history against a sitting president. 2024 is going to be an uphill battle to take back the House — but we’re ready to roll up our sleeves and get to work.
