Hi John, I just wanted to give you a quick update on our Giving Tuesday goal:
We missed getting 3,500 donations before our deadline by just a hair — 89 donations to be exact. And since this goal is SO IMPORTANT — hitting it will unlock an additional $50,000 matching gift from a generous donor — we simply can't give up this close to the finish line.
That's why we've extended our deadline until midnight tonight — so we can make sure to hit our goal, unlock the $50,000 match, and invest everything we've got into taking down the fossil fuel industry and building climate-saving campaigns.
If 89 people reading this email donate right now, we can hit our goal. Will you be one of them, John?
Thank you so much for everything you do.
Onwards,
May Boeve

The science is clear, John:
The summer of 2023 was Earth's hottest on record. Deadly wildfires brought a cloud of smoke covering the Northern Hemisphere, dimming the light of the sun itself and poisoning the air we breathe. There's no doubt that our planet is rapidly heating...
But the fight against climate change is far from over: Every fraction of a degree of global warming that we can prevent means life or death for millions of people and species.
There's so much left to fight for on our planet, but it's going to take all of us doing what we can. And that's what this #GivingTuesday is all about — unleashing the power of people in the fight against the climate crisis.
Every person reading this email has a part to play in safeguarding our planet — so we are launching a new kind of fundraising goal this #GivingTuesday: if we reach 3,500 donations by November 28, we will unlock a $50,000 matching gift for the planet.
John, what you do today matters deeply for the future of life on our planet. And thanks to a generous donor, your donation will go SO MUCH further this #GivingTuesday. If we can reach 3,500 donations by midnight on November 28, that generous donor will match what we've already raised with an additional $50,000 gift for our planet.
Your #GivingTuesday donation goes directly toward resourcing climate activists with the tools they need to create climate campaigns, organize in their communities, and recruit and build their local movements against the fossil fuel industry.
From the activists in Appalachia mobilizing against the Mountain Valley Pipeline, to fishermen in Brazil fighting for their livelihood and their communities survival, to mothers and grandmothers in the Pacific Islands building community-owned generators that run on solar power, there is no limit to what we can accomplish.
John, the fossil fuel industry wants nothing more than for all of us to give up hope in the fight against climate change. I refuse to give up on the fight for our planet. I hope you won't either:
There is no denying that the climate crisis is here. But our climate movement is here too. And I know that if we come together, we can reach this #GivingTuesday goal and safeguard our planet.
In solidarity,
May Boeve
