Now that we have a Republican opponent — one who is as extreme as they come — our campaign has its foot on the gas.

We’re ramping up our operations, hiring more staff, and staying on the offense before the GOP lies and attacks start heading Pat’s way.

This race is going to be close. And with only five seats separating Democrats from flipping control of the House, it’s mission-critical that we hold onto toss-up seats like Pat’s to make sure we can reclaim the majority.

It won’t be easy. Elise Stefanik and GOP super PACs are gearing up to spend $100 million in New York next year.

But we’ve won tough races before. Pundits and pollsters discounted Pat last year — and he won twice in elections very few people thought he could win.
