Climate change is exacting a toll in every region of the U.S in vastly different ways. This means there is no one solution to solve everything, but instead a variety of tailored efforts.
And these efforts take a lot of resources! But because of the support we receive from members like you, we’re able to launch massive programs like:
- The Air Tracker, which, by combing air pollution measurements and weather forecasting data, gives real-time information to help users learn more about the air they are breathing and where it’s likely coming from;
- The Climate Vulnerability Index which shows, down to the neighborhood, the communities where action, investment and effective solutions are most urgently needed. And in 2024, we’re working to expand the tool to reach even more people in more places;
- MethaneSAT, a satellite launching in 2024 that will track methane emissions and provide free data to decision-makers around the world. This will help us find quick-win opportunities to immediately drive down methane emissions and hold polluters accountable.
