Please pray for Loretta.
Loretta is in a hospital in Longview. Last week, a hospital committee started a countdown to remove her ventilator against her and her family’s will.
Loretta could pass away when the countdown ends on December 17.
>> This is legal under the 25-Day Rule (formerly the 10-Day Rule). Although the law has improved, it is still an unconstitutional disregard for the patient’s God-given Right to Life.
Her children contacted Texas Right to Life for help.
Loretta's treatment is working, she opens her eyes, and even smiles when she sees her children and grandchildren.
Thanks to supporters like you, we recruited a Pro-Life attorney to help the family.
Please pray we find a new facility to care for Loretta.
She needs a medical facility that can provide a ventilator. If a new place does not accept her before December 17, Loretta’s ventilator will be removed by the current hospital and she will die prematurely.
John, God has the final say on all of our lives... this should not be in the hands of strangers on a hospital committee.
We know that all life is a gift from the Lord, and all life is treasured and valued by Him.
Pray for Loretta, and consider rushing a gift to our Patient Advocacy Fund ([link removed]) as we work to protect her Right to Life and serve patients across Texas.
