Supporter,

We have to be ambitious if we want to confront the climate crisis, fossil fuel and plastics pollution, and all the other threats we face. That's why an anonymous donor challenged us to recruit 1,000 donors on Giving Tuesday — and offered a $25,000 match if we reached that goal.

We fell just short yesterday — but this moment is too important, and your support matters too much to give up. We just got word that the donor has agreed to extend our deadline for one more day, to show we can get all 1,000 donors we need to step up for this special opportunity.

This is your last chance to help secure a special $25,000 Giving Tuesday matching gift – and we only need a few more gifts to push us over the top. Chip in $5 or more right now!

When I say that we have to be ambitious, I mean it. We’re working to protect 30% of U.S. lands and coastal waters by the year 2030. That means continuing protections for places like the Everglades, Yosemite, and Bear’s Ears. And it means putting pressure on Congress and the Biden administration to create new national monuments, parks, and other protected areas.

If we commit ourselves to this vision, we will be able to continue to enjoy and experience the beautiful, unique, wondrous places we love. We’ll be able to protect those special places for our children and grandchildren. And we’ll be able to share this planet with thriving wildlife.

That’s a vision worth committing ourselves to. But the only way we can make it there is if each one of us does our part.

Please, make your last-chance gift of just $5 or more now and be one of the 1,000 donors we need.

We can keep oil and gas drilling out of our public lands, and stop building new pipelines. We can create a safer world for vulnerable wildlife, and stop the countdowns to extinction. We can renew our investment in the places that have inspired generations and sparked a love of nature in so many of us.

We just have to be ambitious, and committed, and bold in our efforts. I hope you’ll
