The last few months have not been easy: ongoing wars in Gaza and Ukraine, multiple earthquakes in Afghanistan, escalating conflict in Sudan—the list goes on.
This community has shown what we can accomplish when we work together. I am so grateful to each and every person who has continued to support MSF as we save lives around the world.
This year alone, our donor community has enabled MSF staff to:
-
Bear witness, treat patients, and support local health care workers amid the ongoing violence and conflict in Gaza.
-
Respond to the recent earthquakes in Afghanistan by providing lifesaving care to over 540 patients—most of them women and children.
-
Provide physical and psychological trauma care, maternal and pediatric services, and malnutrition treatment to people displaced by conflict in Sudan.
-
Deliver comprehensive, compassionate, and independent care in 70+ countries worldwide.
We cannot predict when a crisis will strike, but loyal supporters allow MSF to stay prepared whenever and wherever a disaster unfolds.
I want to thank you so much for supporting MSF’s work to save lives.
Warmly,
Avril Benoît
