The survey is important for me as a Black, non-binary, trans femme navigating my own health. Due to ableism and anti-Blackness and transphobia, rarely do I get the space to name the parts of myself that need more support, or the parts of myself that bring sorrow or joy. |
Often, trans people are left out of disability discussions and disabled folks are left out of trans narratives. This survey not only gives visibility and a platform to trans disabled folks, it arms our communities with data and research necessary to organize ourselves. |
You can take the survey in English, Spanish or ASL with closed captions. You can listen to each question by pressing play on the audio box underneath the question. There are a few open ended questions throughout the survey. For these questions, you can choose to type your answers or upload an audio file. |
