Israel, Hamas Trade Prisoners, Extend Ceasefire |

Israel and Hamas agreed to a four-day ceasefire which began Friday, during which Israel has agreed to release three Palestinian prisoners for every Israeli hostage freed. As of early Monday morning, Islamist terrorists based in Gaza had released 58 hostages, including 39 Israelis, while Israel had freed 117 Palestinians. Despite alleged and real violations of the ceasefire, the combatants agreed Monday to extend the ceasefire for two more days. |

For Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), the season of goodwill has its limits. As his chamber flies back to tie up loose ends before Christmas, the Democrat has one thing on his to-do list: stop Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.). In his post-turkey Dear Colleague letter, the Senate leader outlined a number of December priorities, including combatting the supposedly "extreme and unprecedented obstruction by a single Republican Senator" - which he claims has "eroded centuries of Senate norms." Funny, critics argue, but isn't that what Schumer's party is threatening to do? |

Seattle Middle School Teacher Made Students Write Hate Mail to Moms for Liberty |

Moms for Liberty, a conservative parental rights group, received a surprise package from Jane Addams Middle School in Seattle. It consisted of letters that appeared to be written by the middle school students with phrases such as "Say Gay," "Gay is slay, stop being a rat," and a repeated use of "Stop bullying." The mothers' group posted pictures of the package on X, writing, "Seattle Public Schools are spending class time indoctrinating and weaponizing your children." |
