Taxpayer, the sounds of shrieking agony are forever burned into my brain.
I’m ashamed to say I was the one causing those heart-wrenching sounds.
My name is Anthony Bellotti. 28 years ago, I worked in an ANIMAL TESTING lab.
And that day, I swore an oath to deliver a devastating strike to the butchers in white lab coats who prey on animals in the name of “science.”
My life’s mission is to get the US government out of the $20B animal testing business, ONCE AND FOR ALL.
It’s why I founded the White Coat Waste Project (WCW)—the most effective group for getting animals out of labs.
Our strategy is effective: Stop the Money. Stop the Madness!
WCW has ended more government animal experiments than any other group:
- We cut 95% of all in-house dog testing at the NIH—now its at the lowest level EVER.
- We ended ALL primate testing and breeding at the FDA’s top monkey lab.
- We shut down the #1 cat lab in the ENTIRE federal govt: USDA’s Kitten Slaughterhouse.

But I can’t do it alone. Unfortunately:
- We just lost one of our biggest foundation partners (a six-figure grantmaker)
- Our legal bills are higher than ever
- Investigative researchers (the very folks who expose animal abuse) are being sent to PRISON!
