Hi John,
We're gearing up for another fight to save wolves this Giving Tuesday.
We just launched a new legal action to stop private contractors in Idaho from gunning down wolves from helicopters and planes.
Help support our fights for wolves and other wildlife by making a matched Giving Tuesday gift now to the Saving Life on Earth Fund.
Idaho allocated $140,000 so hired agents can track down wolves from the air over the state's national forests.
It's sickening and cruel to stalk wolves from the air, exhaust them, and then pick them off one by one. It's also terrible management of wildlife and public lands.
This brutal practice needs to end immediately, so we petitioned the U.S. Forest Service to stop it.
The noise from helicopters and planes used to hunt wolves also puts endangered species at risk. Grizzly bears can be scared out of their dens, leaving cubs behind. Canada lynx and wolverines can be chased away from the forested areas where they hunt for prey.
That's why our lawyers took action. We'll never stop fighting for wolves and other wildlife in harm's way.
We'll use every resource and legal strategy available to protect the species we love — and take the fight to those who want to eradicate wolves and plunder public lands.
Our fights are long and ongoing. But we never relent.
Please make a matched gift today to the Saving Life on Earth Fund.
For the wild,
