Right now, majestic gray wolves are being brutally murdered – including
vulnerable young pups. Three young gray wolves – some of the first wild-born pups in Colorado in over
80 years – were SHOT TO DEATH near the Wyoming border. Now their last surviving pack members, and the future of wolves in the wild, are in extreme danger.

Cruel trophy hunters and their Big Polluter allies are feeding this tragedy. Wolves can’t fight back against this coordinated effort to DECIMATE their packs
and the lands they roam for “fun” and profits. That’s why Friends of the Earth
is standing up to fight for our essential wildlife, the ecosystems they’re a
part of and our planet. But we’re counting on you to take action with us now, on one of our most
important days of the year.

[[link removed]]We’ve set an ambitious Giving Tuesday goal to help protect wildlife and our
planet from senseless violence and greed. Right now, a generous group of donors will MATCH all gifts, dollar-for-dollar,
up to $200,000, but only until midnight TONIGHT to continue this urgent fight. Please: Will you make a membership gift of $27 or more now – and have it
DOUBLED – to help hit our goal and protect the Earth and its vulnerable
inhabitants?

[[link removed]]Here’s what we’re up against: When federal protections for gray wolves were rolled back, trophy hunters went
on an ALL-OUT KILLING SPREE. Hundreds of wolves were violently murdered in a matter of days! Now, surviving wolf populations are still lacking critical protections, and the
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) is failing to prevent more senseless
slaughter.

That means, despite DECADES of tireless work, conservationists can’t protect our
wolves and our public lands on their own. Wolves who enjoy safety on one side of state lines can be MERCILESSLY TORTURED
if they step into deadly, pro-hunting territory. The only way forward is to
strengthen the Endangered Species Act (ESA).

But the fossil fuel industry doesn’t want that to happen. The ESA is one of our strongest tools to PREVENT destructive drilling, mining
and logging projects on the public lands vital species call home. That’s why fossil fuel companies have teamed up with the hunting lobby to
attack the ESA at every turn. If they get their way, gray wolves could lose
their last best chance at survival – and our ecosystems will pay the price of
climate-wrecking destruction and pollution.

The stakes couldn’t be higher, and we MUST fight back with everything we have.
Friends of the Earth is working tirelessly to strengthen the ESA, protecting
wildlife and the planet. That’s why exhausting this $200,000 Giving Tuesday match opportunity is so
crucial, and we can’t do this without your support. Every dollar has a role to
play in sustaining our fight against private interests, greedy corporations and
their anti-environment agenda. So please don’t wait: Make a membership gift of $27 or more now – while $27
becomes $54 – to help Friends of the Earth fight for our wildlife and the only
Earth we’ll ever get.
