John,

Big news: your donation to the National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC) today on Giving Tuesday will now be matched!

All additional Giving Tuesday donations today will be matched dollar for dollar up to $15,000 thanks to our generous partners Aon plc and Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg LLP. When you give now, your donation has twice the impact for people who are newly arriving in our communities!

Give now and double your impact: https://immigrantjustice.org/GivingTuesday

I recently joined a delegation visiting the southern border and witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by immigrants seeking refuge in our country. Right now, many people are arriving in Chicago and other interior cities hoping to stay and build new lives. We urgently need more resources to continue welcoming our new neighbors with open arms.

As we support new neighbors, we also build inclusive systems that support people and families who have called our communities home for generations. And your support makes all the difference.

Your donation to NIJC today can ensure newcomers know their rights, receive legal help with asylum applications, and connect with vital community services—important steps toward stability in their new home.

Plus, if you give now, your donation has double the impact thanks to our generous match. Please give now at: https://immigrantjustice.org/GivingTuesday

We’re already nearly halfway to our $50,000 goal to help newly arriving immigrants in our communities. Every dollar, makes a difference in welcoming our newest neighbors.

Here’s how your donation helps our new neighbors:

$50 supports a month TWO MONTHS of secure phone calls with a lawyer
$100 provides a legal consultation to keep a family TWO FAMILIES together
$300 screens 10 20 PEOPLE for a workshop to apply for asylum
$500 files a person's TWO PEOPLE'S applications for Temporary Protected Status
$1,000 educates 10 20 UNACCOMPANIED IMMIGRANT CHILDREN about their legal rights
$5,000 defends a person TWO PEOPLE against deportation

Donate now and your gift will go twice as far: https://immigrantjustice.org/GivingTuesday

Thank you for providing hope and support to people looking to rebuild their lives and contribute to our communities.
