John, you may
not know this about me, but I do a bit of moonlighting as a stand-up
comic.

And trust me, I’m not giving up my day job.

So take it from me when I say, as the target of Sean Hannity’s stand-up
set at the Fox Nation Patriot Awards show in Nashville, he’s a pretty lame
comedian. Here he is, comparing my last name to “sh*t.” How original.

“A lot of you complained to my bosses and you say 'Hannity curses on the
air because he says it’s a complete sh*tshow.' But if you listen closely,
I’m saying, because Adam Schiff is a piece of sh*t, but if you say Schiff
and sh*t together, you know, you can mix it up. But I never said it wrong
on TV. I said it’s a complete Adam Schiff show.” — Sean Hannity

I’m flattered, by the way. While simultaneously more than a little
disturbed.

The level of acceptable discourse in this country has never been lower —
and it’s not only due to Donald Trump, but to powerful figures in the
far-right media like Sean Hannity.

I will always strive to do what is right, to act with honesty and
integrity, no matter what attacks the MAGA movement sends my way. But at
