As you know, I'm a proud public school teacher. There aren't many of us in Congress, but I believe we can change that. Let me explain:
Our campaign's End of Month Fundraising Deadline is in TWO DAYS—the first since I legally began the process to appear on the California ballot in 2024.
If you're a career politician and insider like Kevin McCarthy, money and connections can make this process a lot easier.
If you're a public school teacher, that means taking off work, getting a sub, spending countless hours or a significant portion of a teacher's salary to meet the requirements to get on the ballot.
I'm not going to sell out like Kevin McCarthy and let extreme special interests control our agenda just for big checks. We're going to do this the right way. But I need your help to make that possible.

Marisa knows that this district – and all of its families – deserve someone fighting for them in Washington, not a career politician who cares about his rich donors and fighting partisan battles.
