There are so many reasons to give. The post-pandemic recovery has been terrible for the most vulnerable with Chicago Animal Care & Control (the city pound) seeing 1,000 more homeless dogs and cats this year than they did last.
As always, the PAWS Chicago community has stepped up to save the voiceless. This year, we’ve rescued more than 2,000 pets from the city pound and we’re on track to perform more than 16,000 spay/neuter surgeries, and more than 700 special surgeries (such as orthopedic, dental, eye, and cancer-removal procedures).
Funds raised today are more than important—they’re critical for homeless pets.
