Team, when I say Mike Johnson is a religious zealot who’s actively seeking to end the separation of church and state and force his fundamentalist views on all Americans, I mean it.

Let me just lay out a few of Johnson’s especially galling stances:
- Worked for a hate group seeking to criminalize sexual activity between LGBTQ+ adults, calling them “inherently unnatural” and “dangerous.”
- Claimed that same-sex marriage is going to destroy “the entire democratic system,” which is pretty ironic coming from a ringleader of the failed plot to overthrow the 2020 election.
- Voted against interracial marriage; because while the rest of us are in 2023, it’s 1923 in Mike Johnson’s mind.
- Supports a total ban on abortion, with no exceptions for rape, incest, or life-threatening complications.
Fundamentalists like Johnson want to destroy the separation of church and state so they can spread their anti-science ideology unchecked. It’s yet one more reason to flip the House and remove these MAGA zealots from power.
