This is not actually the late Warren Spahn, Milwaukee Braves legend. We don’t send 17,000 emails under fake names, hiding from the public. You know who does, though? Governor Tony Evers. That’s right, Tony Evers has been using taxpayer dollars to send and receive at least 17,000 emails under a fake email address, [email protected]. Read about it here from Wisconsin Right Now:  

Evers’ staff is scrambling to defend this email by citing “security concerns,” but their argument isn’t holding up under public scrutiny, and we’re not yet convinced it would hold up in court, either. 

Multiple legal professionals advise against the usage of a taxpayer-funded secret email. Governor Tony Evers is (or at least should be) a public servant, not a celebrity. Anything he communicates in his position as Governor can and should be available to the public. 

If this egregious misuse of public funds tells us anything, it’s that the Democrats have a fundamental misunderstanding of what it means to be a public servant. Vote. Them. Out.
