It’s March Madness and Eric wanted to talk about his favorite subject- Indiana
basketball.

We love basketball — especially Eric. 


It’s in our DNA and we know that Hoosiers around the state live, eat, breathe,
and dream basketball. Since March Madness is right around the corner, Eric
wanted to share some of his favorite moments in Hoosier hoops history. Check
out his list below.

* Milan Miracle, 1954 - The greatest upset in the history of sports and the
inspiration for the greatest sports movie of all time, Hoosiers.
* IU vs. Syracuse, 1987 - Keith Smart sealing Indiana University’s fifth
national championship is burned into our memory —relive this iconic Hoosier

* Notre Dame Women’s 2018 National Championship Run - What’s better than one
buzzer-beater in the Final Four?How about two.

* IU over #1 Kentucky, 2011 - Every Hoosiers fan knows where they were when
the‘Wat Shot’ <[link removed]> happened.
* Any Crispus Attucks High School Game from 1954-1956 - Every single high
school game that Oscar Robertson played in should be part of this list.
* 1982 High School Championship - In this instant classic, Scott Skiles
scored 39 to lead Plymouth over Gary Roosevelt indouble overtime.
* 1990 High School Championship - Damon Bailey led Bedford North Lawrence to
the title in front of 41,000 at the Hoosier Dome, the largest crowd to EVER
watch a high school basketball game.Watch it here.

* All three of Pike High School’s state championships (1998, 2001, 2003) -
these aren’t as well known as the other games on our list, but they hit home
for Eric (it’s his alma mater!).
* Reggie Miller scores 8 points in 9 seconds against the Knicks, 1995 - This
is one of the most exciting sequences you’ll ever see in any sport.Watch Reggie
do his thing and create an iconic moment in Pacers history.

Bryce Drew’s Buzzer Beater - “The Shot” sends #13 Valpo over #4 Mississippi in
one ofthe most memorable buzzer beaters in NCAA history.

* Purdue Women 1999 National Championship run - this run captured the magic
of Boilermaker basketball and electrified a fan base.
* Butler University’s Back-to-Back National Title Games (2009 & 2010) - Eric
still thinks that Gordon Hayward’s half-court shot is gonna go in…
