Friend,

February was a busy month and March is even busier (help Alyse hit our FEC deadline at the end of the month here: [link removed])!

Over the weekend, Alyse flew from Anchorage to Juneau. If she were driving, this trip would take 20.5 hours plus a ferry ride! Since Alaska only has one seat in Congress and we’re twice the size of Texas, Alyse has more ground to cover than any other challenger in the country.

Alyse also had time to visit the Mendenhall Glacier, one of Alaska’s most important and beautiful landmarks that draws millions of visitors each year.

Our team had a blast at the Fur Rendezvous, Alaska’s largest and oldest winter festival. She stopped by the Snow Sculpture competition, a competition that her and her family have competed in, in years past!

Our team also got to watch the Iditarod ceremonial start! The Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race is one of Alaska's iconic winter events, and the excitement starts in Anchorage on the first Saturday of March each year.

Alyse was also honored to attend the Bettye Davis African American Summit, named after one of her heroes. Bettye was a true public servant who always put our students first, and this summit continues her work fighting for a more equitable and just Alaska.

Alyse is having a blast, meeting so many folks excited for change at her campaign stops. Everywhere we go, we can tell folks are #Galvinized (get your own #Galvinize bumper sticker here: [link removed])!

See you on the campaign trail!

Team Alyse
