She is Elise Stefanik and national Republicans’ top choice to run against me, because they know she’ll support their far-right agenda in Congress. It’s the worst Washington-insider baseball recruitment style, reflecting Esposito’s political opportunism.

Esposito ran alongside Lee Zeldin for Governor last year — on a platform of undermining freedom and democracy for millions of New Yorkers. Abortion access. Gun safety. Affordable health care. She stands against everything I believe in.

But she’s going to receive limitless funds from far-right super PACs and dark money donors hoping to defeat me.

National Republicans know this is a competitive seat, and they’ll do anything they can to flip it and hold onto the GOP House majority.
