I presided over the second impeachment of former President Donald Trump for inciting the January 6 insurrection.
It was an honor to do my duty to the Constitution and hold Trump accountable for the lies that led to the violence at our nation's Capitol, but make no mistake: Our democracy is still under attack.
Under the false pretenses of the Big Lie, Republicans across the country are still doing everything they can to pass suppressive Voter ID laws, purge voter rolls, and undermine faith in our elections.
The GOP won’t stop their assault on our democracy until we take federal action, which is why it’s essential that Democrats retake the House and retain our Senate majority in 2024.
I’m on the front lines every day, energizing our base, lifting up pro-choice, pro-democracy, and pro-environment candidates, and laying the groundwork to get Democrats to the polls next year.
But if we’re going to be successful in the face of endless amounts of right-wing money being spent against us over the next year, I need your help. With two days to go until our next end-of-month fundraising deadline, we’re still trailing behind our goal by almost $10,000.
