Right now, our campaign is at the home of Bob and Lynne Appleyard for our homebrew friendraiser!



It's small grassroots events like this one that define our campaign. While our Republican opponents raise thousands of dollars at fancy restaurants and from lobbyists in Tallahassee, we're meeting voters over a homebrew beer and earning support the old fashioned way.



That's why in the most recent fundraising report, one opponent had just 8 donors with an average donation of $437 and the other had 14 total with an average of $400. Think about that, for every $1 donor, someone else gave $800 to get to that average. They have more "high-dollar" donors than regular folks like you and me...



Our campaign, on the other hand, despite being away on military orders for three weeks, had 120 individual donors with an average contribution of just $55. This is a people-powered campaign and always will be!



So, by all means come enjoy a homebrew (or coffee, tea, or whatever) with us (details: [link removed]), or chip in $5 for a Bob Appleyard original homebrew and help us fight back against the influence of big-money in our politics.
