Taxpayer—repeat after me: good intentions are not enough.
If your Giving Tuesday goal is to stop animal testing, shouldn’t you prioritize giving to the ONLY GROUP successfully shutting down the government’s labs?
Here are 9 REASONS why you should give to the White Coat Waste Project (WCW):
Reason #1:
We decimate dog labs. WCW just cut the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) in-house dog testing by 95%. Now, it’s at the lowest level EVER. And we recently shut down all painful Veterans Affairs (VA) labs. Puppies were forced to run on treadmills in heart attack tests. 200+ were abused and killed each year. Now it’s ZERO. No other group has closed any federal dog labs—in nearly two decades.

Newborns were torn from their moms and forcibly addicted to amphetamine, ketamine, and Ritalin. 200+ monkeys were tortured each year. Now it’s ZERO. No other group has shut down a government monkey lab—or any primate tests in the USA—in nearly a decade.
Reason #4:
We are more innovative. To stop taxpayer-funded animal experimentation, you must first stop wasteful government spending. WCW’s mission is to cut the FAT: federal animal testing. Our strategy is FED: find, expose, and de-fund government waste. The U.S. government funds most of the world’s animal experiments, so we prioritize campaigns that pay the biggest dividends. The winning message is clear: Stop the Money. Stop the Madness!
Reason #5:
We unite the left and right. Need proof we’ve got the winning message? WCW united the Squad and the Freedom Caucus as allies in our War on Waste. Let’s be honest: other groups just can’t reach both sides in Washington. We do! And that’s something you (and the animals) desperately need.

We think globally (but act locally). WCW de-funded all cat and animal tests in Russia. On your U.S. taxpayer dime, Putin’s white coats damaged felines’ brains, rammed electrodes into their spines, and forced disabled cats to walk on treadmills. WCW united President Biden and congressional Republicans to de-fund it… along with ALL other Russian animal labs. Every. Single. Animal test. Dasvidanya! As far as we know, this is the first time in history that funding has been cut for animal testing across an entire country.
Taxpayer, on Giving Tuesday, I defy you to find a better ROI than that.

We make history. WCW ended dog testing across an entire government agency. This has never been done before. And four years before the Envigo scandal, we passed the first state law in history to ban funding for maximum-pain tests on cats and dogs. We also won the first-ever policies to retire federal lab survivors. Don’t forget: the world only knows about Dr. Fauci’s beagle and monkey experiments because of WCW.

We are more efficient. WCW spends pennies on the dollar to win. We don’t have wealthy Hollywood celebrities or fancy red-carpet fundraisers. Unlike the big groups, we didn’t get a PPP bailout.
