Dear John,

In the Ms. Foundation’s latest research, one movement leader describes her experience:

I’m coming out of a hard burnout. I’m coming out of a really, really hard burnout. I had gotten to a point where I was working from 5AM ‘til 2AM every day for a good four months…. Because we’re structured the way we are, I have no health insurance. My kids don’t have health insurance.”

This is why we at the Ms. Foundation say – No more pocket change! It’s why we’ve developed and issued a call to action for philanthropy based on real-life experiences of leaders, workers, and volunteers all across our movement.

I hope you’ll take a few moments to read this important report and plan.

And then, in these last hours of Giving Tuesday, I ask for your crucial donation to the Ms. Foundation in support of progress for people nationwide.

For more than 50 years, the Ms. Foundation has been here every day for women. The resources it takes to lead and persevere come directly from your individual donations, which makes Giving Tuesday a critically important fundraising day for the Ms. Foundation.

We can achieve even more together in 2024.

With hope for a year of progress ahead,

Ruth McFarlane
Chief Advancement Officer
