Speaking of debates, did you catch that Ken Calvert refused to say whether he’d commit to a debate before Election Day 2024?
I wish I could say I was shocked, but this is Ken Calvert after all… If you remember from last election, we tried to get Calvert to agree to a debate for months and got radio silence.
This is a classic move out of the GOP playbook. Calvert is embracing an extreme agenda that’s deeply unpopular in CA-41, but he’s too afraid to face the music – i.e. voters.
John, folks deserve an explanation as to why Calvert voted to elect one of the most extreme Speakers in history, voted against certifying the 2020 election, and even voted to strike down over $3 million in earmarks for services to the LGBTQ+ community -- including meals for seniors.
Our community deserves better, and the good news is we’re on a strong pathway to flipping this seat next year, but we truly can’t do this without you:
