MAGA Rep. Kevin Hern took over $1.2 million in Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) tax dollars for his McDonald’s franchises. **I’m running for Congress in Oklahoma’s 1st District to defeat Hern and make sure no one in Congress uses their office for personal profit.**



$1.2 million dollars is a lot of money to Oklahomans living in a state with a Top 10 highest poverty rate. **A million dollars would go a long way to helping the 193,524 Oklahoma children living in poverty.** I’m talking about helping them with what they need: healthy food, warm clothing, winter heat, school supplies. **$1.2 million would buy school clothes and school supplies for 4,669 children in need. $1.2 million would provide a year’s dental insurance so 1000 families could take their kids to the dentist.**



That’s where I want my tax dollars going. I don’t want my taxes supporting welfare for the wealthy – like Kevin Hern.



Hern stated the “American people need to see us be responsible with their taxpayer dollars.” I agree. **My priority in Congress will be to hold Hern accountable for every cent of the $1.2 million in tax dollars he took and didn’t pay back.** Americans need to know to the penny where he spent it.



**I wish we could end hypocrisy in Congress.** Like when Hern pretends to be a budget hawk by working to eliminate the federal free and reduced lunch program for kids and then takes a $1.2 million government handout for himself. Hern’s not talking about that. He’s not telling us where the money went. And he’s not paying it back.



**I’ll work to ensure PPP money went where it was supposed to go and if it didn’t, we’re going to get it back.**



Our campaign strongly opposes Hern's actions in taking a $1.2 million handout. **Oklahoma deserves a representative in Congress with Oklahoma values.** With your support, we will win this election and fix the broken public trust in Congressional District 1. Congress should serve the public interest and not the officeholder.
