Let’s give migrant families a warm welcome to Boston

Ayanna Pressley for Congress

This Giving Tuesday, we hope you’ll take the chance to support migrant families in the MA-07 community.

Many migrants are experiencing a Boston winter for the first time — and even seasoned Bay Staters know the winter season can be challenging.

In the past year, the A-Team has worked alongside community organizations in Massachusetts that support arriving families and ensure their basic needs are met. The United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley is one of the organizations at the forefront of the movement for immigrant justice in our state — helping new families get settled and getting them what they need.

With the number of families seeking asylum rising sharply this year, they could use our support right now. So, if you’re able, please pitch in $25 or anything you can this Giving Tuesday to ensure migrant families in the community can access the shelter, services, and supplies they need this winter.

Your Giving Tuesday gift will:

Giving Tuesday is a beautiful opportunity to provide mutual aid and show love for our community. Many of the families arriving in Massachusetts have fled violence in their home countries and endured a harrowing journey to America. Let’s meet the families in our community with compassion and show them that the A-Team is there for them today. If you’re able, please donate $25 or any amount you can this year to support the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley this Giving Tuesday — and let’s give migrant families a warm welcome to our community.

Thanks for all you do,

The A-Team
