December 4, 2023 I 8:30 a.m. ? 10:30 a.m. *VIRTUAL** *

This assistance program is for state, county, municipal, and quasi-municipal employers, managers, and employees.? This program is an overview of public-sector employer responsibilities, including injury/fatality reporting, written programs, training, equipment/facility inspections, and recordkeeping.

*Establishing or Improving Your Safety & Health Committee - *?

December 12, 2023 | 8:30 a.m.?3:30 p.m. SafetyWorks! Training Institute, 45 Commerce Drive, Augusta

This one-day class will assist in establishing or improving your safety committee. This class will give you the skills to put a dynamic committee together or strengthen the work of existing teams. It will provide models for hazard assessment, incident investigation, "near-miss" reporting, OSHA regulations, facility inspections and required training. It will help you analyze the strengths and weaknesses of your program and give you a game plan for greater success.

*Developing & Conducting Assessments, Audits, and Inspections ? *

December 13, 2023 | 8:30 a.m.?12:30 p.m. SafetyWorks! Training Institute, 45 Commerce Drive, Augusta

Identifying and analyzing hazards are key elements to an effective safety and health system. This training explores the methods to assess the workplace for hazards and implement controls to effectively control them. This half-day course looks at PPE assessment, behavioral and program audits, as well as equipment-specific and facility inspections.

*Forklift Operator Safety ?*

January 3, 2024 I 8:30 a.m. ? 4:30 p.m.? SafetyWorks! Training Institute, 45 Commerce Drive, Augusta

This full-day class is designed for new operators. The instruction will involve classroom and hands-on training.? Training will include performing a forklift inspection and using a forklift simulator. This training does not meet the requirements to qualify the participants to be a ?qualified operator.? Only the employer can provide such certification.

*Bloodborne Pathogens Train-the-Trainer -*

January 4, 2024 I 8:30 a.m. ? 12:30 p.m. SafetyWorks! Training Institute, 45 Commerce Drive, Augusta

This half-day class provides guidance on what is needed to be compliant with the bloodborne pathogens standard. This course will review written program requirements, training, documentation, Hepatitis B, and sharp logs.
