Hi John,
I can’t believe the year is already coming to a close. It always goes so fast, doesn’t it? It’s not surprising though when we reflect on the year we’ve had.
Between the spring Supreme Court race, legislative session, and everything in between it’s no wonder the year went by so fast. Here’s a little recap of our year so far: -
Your support helped us run our largest-ever spring election campaign, which helped propel Justice Janet Protasiewicz to victory, changing the balance on the state supreme court toward a pro-democracy and pro-conservation majority.
- Hundreds of conservation voters showed up at Conservation Lobby Day in April to advocate for five major conservation priorities in the state budget - and we won $125 million in funding for PFAS remediation!
-
We launched our campaign to commit the city of Stevens Point to 100 percent clean energy!
- This fall, we launched a new canvass effort to knock on 80,000 doors to spread the work about the benefits available to Wisconsin residents through President Biden’s Affordable Clean Energy Plan!
It’s easy to see when broken out into bullets why this year flew by. Our team worked hard every day to make progress on critical issues – like safe drinking water, fair political maps, and a clean energy future for Wisconsin.
Our work this year wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of conservation voters like you.
So if you’re compelled to support us this Giving Tuesday, we ask that you consider becoming a sustaining donor. $5, $15, or $25 a month goes a long way towards helping us continue to invest in critical organizing work around the state. |
We hope to show up for our neighbors and communities for years to come, to do whatever it takes. A monthly donation means the world and allows us to project the programs of our dreams into the future.
If you’d like to make a one-time donation to us on Giving Tuesday, or see other ways to support us, we thank you for it. You can do so here.
We’re beyond grateful for the generosity we’ve received that has made our work this year possible. From us, and every small nonprofit doing big work, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
We hope that you’re able to reclaim some rest this holiday season. There’s so much that awaits us in the future, and we’re excited to plunge into a new year to continue our work. |
