We felt this was the right day to highlight the hard work we still have ahead of us to meaningfully address the climate crisis. This recent report by the Environment Commissioner reveals that the Liberal government has fallen far short in addressing the climate crisis, including:

None of the targets set to combat climate change have been met.
Shockingly, oil and gas emissions have increased by 88% since 1990, and overall emissions are 22% higher than promised.
Only 8% of the promised electric vehicle charging stations have been built.

Canada can’t afford to ignore these findings. As our MP Mike Morrice puts it, "While all other federal parties seem to be in a race to the bottom on how best to erode carbon pricing, we continue to go the wrong direction in the midst of a climate crisis with a closing window of opportunity to act before it's too late.”
