Dear Friends,
I just returned from Israel, where I caught up with our "Jerusalem Jane". I am happy to share a great new article and page that is telling her story and featuring all of her work:
Jane is a bold and passionate Danish woman on the frontlines for Israel every day, living away from her family in Denmark. For over five years The United West has worked with Jane in Israel and we fully support her amazing work.
Though she always needs your prayers, right now she has a special need for your prayers and commitment of financial support on a monthly basis. She is moving into a new home September 1, 2020. It’s a fresh new beginning after a couple of very hard and challenging years. Those difficult times are described here:
She received numerous death threats after Hamas and Al Quds shared two of her videos. She broke her right ankle, spending many months in a wheelchair. She had an additional fracture in her foot that was very painful. A very close friend and well known Israel advocate, Ari Fuld, was brutally murdered last year in a terror attack near his home. Ari’s murder was simply devastating for Jane and The United West, but also for all of Israel. Then Jane had a death in her own family, back in Denmark and was not able to go to be with her family during that most difficult time.
We encourage all of our friends and partners to help raise $7,000 to send as a love offering and blessing to help Jane move into a new and safe home, to enable her to get all she needs to continue her important work. The cost of living in Jerusalem is very high, but her work is that important, even through all the hardships, she remains steadfast to work to make Israel home, stand for her adopted home and for the Jewish people she loves.
Please watch this short video telling you about her life...
