Expect noise during Dec. 5 Interpretive Center dock inspection
Scope & Impact: The dock is currently closed to pedestrians and will remain closed until the inspection and any needed repairs are complete. Passersby can expect to hear noise from equipment during the work. The Interpretive Center restrooms will remain open.
Where: Dock north of the Interpretive Center located at 2600 Deschutes Parkway, Olympia.
When: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5.
Why: To perform a routine inspection of the dock to identify needed repairs.
All work is weather dependent. The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is doing this work.
