Project description: Blue Earth County Public Works is proposing to build a new 90,780 square foot facility with a planned 6,100 square foot mezzanine and 43,340 square feet of ancillary buildings in Mankato Township, Blue Earth County. The new facility would replace the current deteriorated and undersized facility which is used for highway engineering and maintenance administration, operations, and storage of maintenance equipment.

Project description: Dougherty Properties LLC is seeking approval for the installation of an additional 88 full hookup RV sites on a portion of the Wealthwood RV Resort property that was previously the front nine holes of the Wealthwood Estate Golf Course. Wealthwood RV Resort will manage and operate the additional RV lots.

MN Public Utilities Commission - Power Plant Siting Act Annual Hearing 2023
Notice description: Under Minnesota Statute § 216E.07, the Commission is required to hold an annual public hearing to afford interested persons an opportunity to be heard regarding any matters relating to the siting of large electric generating power plants and routing of high-voltage transmission lines. The hearing will also cover and discuss the siting and routing of wind and pipeline projects under Minn. Stat. §§ 216F and 216G, respectively. The Notice for this hearing can be accessed at the MN PUC eDockets website at mn.gov/puc/edockets, then select Go to eDockets Project Database, enter the year (23) and the docket number (18), and select Search. The Notice will provide all information on attending or submitting comments. The hearing will be in person in the PUC Small Hearing Room and virtually through WebEx. Comments can be provided at the meeting or in writing using the Commissions eFiling system.

Fish kill reports
Minnesota Duty Officer reports pertaining to fish kills are summarized in the following table, in accordance with 103G.216, REPORTING FISH KILLS IN PUBLIC WATERS, Subd. 2 Reporting Requirement. These reports were received via the Minnesota Duty Officer prior to the submission deadline for this edition of the EQB Monitor. They represent the raw data/information provided by callers. For more information regarding fish kills in Minnesota see the Department of Natural Resources. Call the Minnesota Duty Officer at 651‐649‐5451 or 800‐422‐0798 to report fish kills.
