John,

We woke up this morning to find out that Donald Trump was up late tweeting
cheap shots at Beto from his iPhone. He told Beto to “be quiet.”

Mr. President, 22 people are dead after an act of terror inspired by your
racist words and deeds.

El Paso will not be quiet.

Beto will not be quiet.

This campaign will not be quiet.

We’ll call it as we see it, especially on a day like today.

This president helped create the hatred that made Saturday's tragedy
possible. He should not be coming to El Paso at all. The last thing this
town needs is more division. It’s time for healing.

Thank you for being with us during this time.
