Here are some reasons why we believe Rep. Mike Johnson is a dangerous extremist who should not be Speaker of the House:

his
law
career,
he
worked
to
maintain
the
criminal
ban
on
gay
sex,
described
homosexuality
as
“inherently
unnatural”
and
“a
dangerous
lifestyle”.
He
also
compared
homosexuality
to
pedophilia
and
bestiality.
*
He
wrote
a
federal
version
of
Florida’s
hateful
“Don’t
Say
Gay”
bill.
*
He
and
his
wife
have
worked
extensively
to
promote
harmful
conversion
therapy
and
prevent
transgender
people
from
acquiring
medical
treatment
and
transition.
*
Johnson
is
also
vehemently
anti-abortion,
even
blaming
a
woman’s
right
to
choose
for
the
scourge
of
school
shootings
in
our
country
and
our
economic
struggles.
*
He
also
believes
that
there
should
not
be
a
separation
of
church
and
state
in
America,
completely
subverting
the
whole
purpose
for
the
founding
of
this
country.
