Happy Thanksgiving, John,

This is a special note to thank you for being part of the NumbersUSA action network that is working to achieve sensible immigration policies. My name is Anne Manetas and I am the Chief Operating Officer at NumbersUSA. Some of you may know me – I joined the NumbersUSA team over 20 years ago when Roy Beck launched a new website to offer citizens the ability to fax Congress for free!

While fax machines are a thing of the past, the need for better immigration has never been greater. That is why I am pleased to share with you that next month, NumbersUSA will offer a new technology to accelerate grassroots activism – an Action App for your smartphone that will allow you to contact Congress with one click from your iPhone or Android device. New technology, but same message – better immigration is needed and possible!

Giving Tuesday Support Sensible Immigration
NumbersUSA remains the premiere organization on Capitol Hill and in the halls of Congress advocating for tighter borders and sensible policies like E-Verify and an end to chain migration. But our team is now so much more than just a Capitol Hill Operation. Our successful initiatives supplement and facilitate our legislative goal of lower immigration.

NumbersUSA is Effective!

When you support NumbersUSA, you can be rest assured your investment will be used wisely. Receiving the highest ratings from the BBB Wise Giving Alliance, Charity Navigator, Independent Charities of America and Guidestar, NumbersUSA runs a muscular and successful program.

⬤ State Initiative: We no longer only concern ourselves with federal policies. States have an important role to play in enforcing federal immigration law by passing and enforcing their own laws. We have a great state team that works with our allies and contracted lobbyists in states like West Virginia, Florida, and Texas to pass mandatory E-Verify bills and other important measures to protect state residents from unfair competition from illegal aliens. The mandatory E-Verify bill passed and signed into law in Florida earlier this year is our first big victory of our state initiative.
⬤ Sustainability Initiative (SI): We just published our Idaho Sprawl study showing that Idaho, with the highest rate of population growth in the country, has 16% less open space than there was 35 years ago. Immigration (post-1990) was related to 18% of Idaho's growth from 1990 to 2020. The study (on our new Idaho sprawl website) received significant media attention, including TV, podcasts, and print media coverage.
⬤ Back of the Hiring Line: In a joint effort with Black American Voters Project, we sponsored the "Stop the Buses" rally in Chicago which featured NumbersUSA founder, Roy Beck, Speaker and Newsweek Contributor, Pamela Denise Long, and our Director of HBCU Engagement, Andre Barnes The rally was designed to provide information about immigration policies and immigration's historical impact on Black Americans. Our team was interviewed by local Chicago CBS and Fox TV, as well as several radio and podcast stations. The event was also live streamed via X and Facebook to nearly 10,000 viewers. The recorded link to that live stream event is here.
We have you to thank for this growth and success. As a member of the NumbersUSA network, you have supported the effort for sensible immigration through your activism and your financial support. We need both and appreciate you for whatever type of support you provide.

I hope that next month when you get an alert that our Action App is available, you will download it and begin using it to contact Congress in support of sensible immigration. It's time to end the border crisis and end the nonsense in our immigration policies. Thank you for being part of this important, long-term effort with us. We appreciate you.
