John,

It is estimated that in North Carolina five people die every day from gun violence.

These deaths are preventable—but we need North Carolina to invest in lifesaving gun violence prevention programs and policies. We fight every day to ensure lawmakers are prioritizing the investments and policies that can save lives.

Fighting for safer communities takes a lot of resources–that’s why we’re counting on supporters like you this #GivingTuesday. Donate today to help us reduce the number of gun related deaths in North Carolina and ensure our current protections aren’t repealed - [link removed].

Our work relies on the generosity and dedication of individuals like you. Your gift today will allow us to continue our work in North Carolina to demand life-saving policies stay in place, like the concealed carry permit requirement, and other gun safety laws are expanded to keep our communities safe. Your support will allow us to fight for increased investment in community-based programs focused on the root causes of gun violence like trauma, poverty, and access to resources. We will not stop until all of our communities are safe from gun violence.

Thank you for joining us in this fight. We can’t do it without you.

Sincerely,
Sara
