John,
**Will you make a generous gift to the National Immigration Forum this
Giving Tuesday?**
Your support has a significant impact on our ongoing efforts to bridge
the divide and build constructive immigration solutions. Here are just a
few ways the Forum is mobilizing for congressional-level immigration
reforms:
*
**Building Alliances.** Our team is working every day to establish and
foster relationships across the aisle for bipartisan reforms. The
Forum-led Alliance for a New Immigration Consensus (ANIC) continues to
grow and demand legislative solutions for Dreamers and their employers,
farmers and farmworkers, and the border. By bringing together a diverse
group of organizations and leaders across the political spectrum, the
ANIC is proof positive of the broad, bipartisan support for reforms.
*
**Elevating Voices.** Personal stories best illustrate the challenges
posed by our out-of-date and often dysfunctional immigration system -
and that's why the Forum is bringing constituent voices directly to
Capitol Hill. By connecting Dreamers, people of faith, business and
community leaders, and others with their elected officials and
congressional staff, the Forum is opening doors for engagement and
ensuring decision-makers hear that the American people are calling for
commonsense immigration solutions.
*
**Advancing Legislation.** Recent history has demonstrated that partisan
efforts to change the immigration system cannot succeed. Just this year,
the Forum and the Forum-led Afghan Adjustment Act Advocacy Group have
engaged in more than 80 meetings with House and Senate offices to
advocate for this bill's passage. These meetings bolstered support,
encouraged additional co-sponsors, and paved the way for the bill's
reintroduction in July with strong bipartisan support.
The contributions of generous donors like you enable the Forum to do
this work and so much more. By bringing together advocates, leaders, and
supporters from across the political spectrum, we can achieve
much-needed, bipartisan immigration reforms.
**We've set a goal to raise $10,000 by midnight tonight.** Every
dollar raised goes directly toward advancing commonsense immigration
solutions.
**Are you with us?**
John, your support would mean a lot to us on this global day of
giving. We must reform our immigration system and need your support to
continue to advocate for long-lasting, bipartisan solutions. **Will you
join our advocacy efforts by making your first gift before Giving
Tuesday ends?**Â
If you already made an early gift, thank you! Please consider forwarding
this message to your friends and family to help us maximize our impact
during this giving season.
With Gratitude,
Jennie Murray
