Are you with us in the Far Middle?
This week, CCL is launching an exciting brand campaign called "The Far
Middle," which represents the radical idea that we need to work together
to solve our biggest problems, like climate change.
The light-hearted campaign centers on a three-headed spokesperson
representing different parts of America's political spectrum. Whether
you see yourself as the left head, the right head, or the one stuck in
the center, we can all work together to solve climate change—and we can
encourage our members of Congress to do the same!

profiles, and visit the Far Middle website. There, you can write a
message to Congress letting them know they're authorized to work
together, shoulder to shoulder, on climate solutions that both sides can
support.

Chapter Development: 'Sister Chapters'
There are CCL chapters that have so many volunteers, they struggle to
find things for people to do. Some chapters wrestle with the opposite
problem — not having enough volunteers. Some CCL groups in California
turned this problem into an opportunity by starting a "Sister Chapter"
partnership, whereby larger groups offer volunteers who can help smaller
groups with technical tasks, marketing, social media and congressional
research. Arrangements like this have started between chapters in San
Francisco and Fresno, and Alameda and Modesto. Learn more in this
