We Are…a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization of common people—urban and rural, spiritual and secular—seeking equal protection for all, united against hate, bigotry and racism. We Do… outreach and intervention in communities to promote understanding, healing, reconciliation and redemption. Instead of simply condemning the latest eruptions of hate-inspired violence, we dig down to the root causes of division, fear and hate. And we advocate policies creating greater economic security, promoting religious tolerance, celebrating differences and honoring America’s heritage of openness to foreigners. |

Major Accomplishments - National Prestigious Award - President Biden presented a "Uniters Award" to Masood Akhtar, President/Founder of our Movement (1 out of 19 selected out of hundreds nominated nationally).
- The Movement Became International - Now we have several student-led chapters in middle and high schools in Wisconsin and overseas.
- Co-Hosting National Events - On January 25, 2024, we will be co-hosting an event at the Columbia University with focus on countering hate.
- Business Advisory Council - Created this council with representatives from the local business communities where schools are located.
- Student Unity Summit - We are planning to host this student-led event at McFarland High School on February 28, 2028
Need to Raise $50,000 - From corporations, board members, and foundations we have raised nearly $150,000 to support a Unity Director position over 4 years (2024-2027) to serve the educational and training needs of students/teachers/administrators. - We still need to raise $50,000 to fully fund this position. Together, we can build unity and not uniformity (differences of opinion are respected in America) in classrooms and communities. - We want you to be part of our village to make that change. Please donate generously. |
