JOHN: John James’ divisive rhetoric has earned him headlines in Fox News. He’s the right-wing’s darling, but he’s far too extreme for Michigan.

Now, here’s why we urgently need to replace James:

• James supported overturning Roe v. Wade and even compared abortion to genocide. James is kidding himself if he thinks he can run away from his record. Voters have a clear understanding of where he stands and reject his radical war on women’s freedoms.
   
• James called the Affordable Care Act a “monstrosity” and could attempt to repeal the law. Millions of Michiganders would be cut off from affordable prescriptions and outpatient care, which would have dire consequences.
   
• James is too extreme for MI-10. He even accepted volunteer support for his campaign from members of the Proud Boys.


• James doesn't respect our democracy. After losing to Senator Gary Peters, James refused to acknowledge the results of the election. He defrauded donors into helping fund a recount only to abandon the effort entirely.

The list goes on. John James has proven time and again that he cannot be trusted to represent MI-10 without putting his interests first. We’ve had enough.
