The attacks against the Boundary Waters are mounting. Right now, Representative Stauber and his anti-Wilderness cronies in Congress are doing everything they can to reverse the 20-year ban on mining, including directly giving mining leases back to Chilean mining giant Antofagasta by attaching sneaky amendments onto must-pass budget bills. Unfortunately, this onslaught of anti-Wilderness and pro-extraction legislation is only ramping up. 

We will fight tooth and nail to protect wild places from exploitation. We tirelessly advocate to protect this boreal Wilderness permanently, but we can’t do this without nature defenders like you on our side.
