Our work continues...

Dear John,

It’s easy to scroll past yet another email on Giving Tuesday, and we get that. There are so many good causes. The thing is that people with disabilities find their needs unmet far too often.

That’s where we step in.

The National Disability Rights Network is wholly dedicated to ensuring that the voices of people with disabilities are heard. Every day, the attorneys, advocates, staff, boards, and councils that make up our network fight tirelessly for our civil and human rights, making NDRN and its member agencies the nation’s largest providers of legal advocacy services for people with disabilities in the country.

Where people with disabilities are still stuck in institutions, where classrooms are unequipped to provide for students with disabilities, where public spaces remain inaccessible to people with mobility issues, our network is there to fight for and with them. These infringements on our rights should not be as common as they are, but the fact of the matter is that we have a long way to go before all people with disabilities receive equal treatment in our nation. Working towards that change is not something we can do on our own.

That’s where you step in.

On behalf of the 40 million Americans with disabilities who we serve, we humbly ask for your support on this Giving Tuesday to continue and expand the advocacy we deliver in every state and territory. Providing advocates and attorneys to people with disabilities, protecting civil rights and guarding against abuses, and pushing for reform on Capitol Hill will lead us to a future where equity and justice wins. Your generosity is key to that future.

A gift of just $10, $15, or $25 goes much farther than you think. Thank you for your support!
