Next year’s elections are about so much more than politics. They’re about defending our fundamental values as Americans.
The Republican Party has turned into a vacuum of chaos, dysfunction, conspiracy theories, and hate. They’re doubling down on election lies, banning books, bullying the LGBTQ community, ripping away reproductive rights, and more.
Still, we have an extremely difficult fight ahead of us over the next year. Republicans are outraising Democrats in Minnesota and across the country, and a recent poll from Emerson College shows Donald Trump statistically tied with President Biden in Minnesota.
It’s terrifying to think of Donald Trump or any of the Republican candidates ending up in the White House again, but that’s exactly what will happen if we don’t continue preparing to hold the line up and down the ballot in 2024.
We have a critical test on December 31 – our end-of-year budget deadline. We need to reach our $75,000 goal to start the election year at full capacity, but right now, we’re less than 15% of the way there.
