That’s right. We want you to ignore Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday is a handy tool for large corporations with major giving programs, but for small nonprofits like ours, it’s not a sustainable way to give. You give what you can when you’re compelled to do so. There are very few donors across the U.S. that can afford to do all their giving on one day, and it pits small nonprofits against each other to compete for resources. So instead, John, we want to share what we have done this year. To earn your support year round. Here is just some of the work we have accomplished this year:
It is because of the generosity of people like you that we can do this work. Thank you for giving your time and resources. If you are looking to support us, we ask that you become a sustaining donor. Five, fifteen, or twenty-five dollars a month goes a long way towards holding policy makers responsible and electing environmental champions. Thank you for joining us in this work. Happy holidays!
